Lifetime warranty on brake pads

How does it works:

All Toyota Genuine Brake Pads and Shoes are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty * at Vimont Toyota Laval as follows:

1- This offer applies to:
A- New vehicles and demonstrators purchased from Vimont Toyota Laval.
B- Used vehicles whose complete brakes have been replaced by genuine Toyota parts at Vimont Toyota Laval.
C- If you replace the complete brakes, front or rear, with genuine Toyota parts at Vimont Toyota Laval.


2- Brake maintenance must be performed annually on the date of the "brake anniversary **" (or to all
24,000 km, whichever occurs first) at Vimont Toyota Laval by a qualified technician at the customer's expense.


3- Replacing the brake fluid every 3 years on the date of the "brake anniversary **" (or every
48,000 km) at Vimont Toyota Laval by a qualified technician at the customer's expense.


4- The replacement will only be done if:
A- One of the pads is worn to less than 3mm.
B- One of the segments is worn to less than 1mm.


5- The replacement of original Toyota brake pads and segments must be carried out by a
qualified technician from Vimont Toyota Laval.

6- All other required work, noted by the technician, must also be done when replacing the part
guarantee.

7- Commercial vehicles as well as used vehicles with used brakes are excluded.

8- The cost of labor for the installation of the brake pads and or segments as well as the others
Parts required to restore the brake system to its original condition are at the customer's expense.

** Definition of "anniversary of the brakes":
- For a new vehicle or demonstrator purchased from Vimont Toyota Laval: this is the original commissioning date.
- For a certified used vehicle purchased from Vimont Toyota Laval: this is the delivery date on the purchase contract.
- For brakes that have been replaced and paid for by the customer: this is the date on the invoice from Vimont Toyota Laval
when purchasing and replacing pads and / or rings.
A 30 day grace period is allowed. Example: if your original in-service date is June 15,
The anniversary of the brakes is from May 15th to July 15th.
